Abstrakt
Šport prináša športovcom množstvo nezabudnuteľných chvíľ a úspechov, za ktorými sa však v tieni výsledkových tabúľ, či svetiel reflektorov arén skrývajú mnohé problémy. Každý športovec sa počas svojej športovej kariéry stretáva s fyzickým, psychickým a emocionálnym vypätím, ktoré si často vyžaduje individuálnu starostlivosť. V posledných rokoch vznikla nová špecializácia športová sociálna práca, ktorá má za úlohu uspokojovať potreby športovcov. Cieľom príspevku, ktorý má charakter teoretickej štúdie, je preto priblížiť opodstatnenosť a potrebu rozvoja sociálnej práce v športe.
Abstract
Sport brings athletes a lot of unforgettable moments and successes, behind which, however, many problems are hidden in the shadow of the scoreboards or the spotlights of the arenas. Every athlete encounters physical, psychological and emotional stress during their sports career, which often requires individual care. In recent years, a new specialization, sports social work, was created, which has the task of meeting the needs of athletes. The aim of the contribution, which has the character of a theoretical study, is therefore to bring closer the justification and need for the development of social workers in sports.
